A beautiful and grand antique, Scottish agate and Silver knot brooch.
It has an infinity loop design, interwoven with a geometric pattern to form a knot shape.
The brooch is set with high polished agate including Red Jasper, Bloodstone, Montrose agate and orange Moss agate.
A particularly lovely example, very versatile and can be worn in many ways.
It is a fairly large sized brooch and very well made, it has a Victorian diamond registration mark to the reverse though this is well worn, c1870s.
It has an old C type clasp and pin fastener with a safety chain.
Condition: Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, one crack in the orange moss agate but this is hard to notice if not up close and is nice and strong.
