This torc-style arm ring features a twisted steel design and dragon’s head terminals.

The vikings regarded dragons as symbols of power that could rival the gods, and this design gives them the sleek appearance of the lindworm, an wingless dragon often called on in ancient depictions of dragons in Norse myth — the Midgard serpent, who circles the world biting his own tail, or Fafnir, said to be the inspiration for Tolkien’s Smaug, or Nidhogg, a dragon associated with Hell, who chews on the roots of Yggdrasil, the World-Tree.
